Jonathan Prater moved to Los Angeles in summer of 2005 to establish himself as a professional choreographer. He made his mark on the Hollywood dance scene; teaching throughout Los Angeles at Professional Dance Studios such as Debbie Reynolds. He has made an impact on dancers from around the world that come take his classes because of his unique style of hip hop mixed with thug, rock and pop vibe focusing on the musicality to the fullest. Jonathan pushes his students to dance outside of their comfort zone of their usual style and movement. His choice of music is not always what people expect and that's what makes his extraordinary style of choreography stand out! He started his career touring with Jordan Knight from New Kids On The Block House Of Blues world tour at the age of 17. He has taught his unique style of choreography over seas in Germany, Switzerland, and London. He has worked with many artist such as Shakria on the new “She Wolf” video, Hilary Duff, Miley Cyrus, Aaron Carter, Brooke Hogan, toured with Sean Paul and Snoop Dogg, choreographed for the hit song Fantasy by recording artist and producer Timbaland Feat. “Money". Jonathon also was the artist development choreographer on the new hit show on CBS called the “Industry” and has worked with many Disney artists as well. Jonathan’s specialty is in artist development and he works with many up and coming artists one on one, training them on how to perform and to prepare them for their world tours. He hopes to continue to inspire other dancers to grow so they can continue to inspire him to create.
