Born and raised in DeLand Florida, Lindsey began dancing at the age of 6.  Trained under Dee Dee Charleston-Palmer of Dee Dee's Dance Studio, and Valerie Webb of Classy Composition, she's spent more than 15 years learning tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and hip-hop.  At 8 years old, she began competing at competitions around the country including conventions such as Tremaine and LA Dance Magic (formally known as L.A. Underground).  She ended her competing career at age 15 winning numerous group awards and a couple personal scholarships along the way.  Lindsey graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management.  She was part of the LEAD Scholars Program and was also a member of Rukus Hip Hop Dance Team from 2004-2006.  They had the opportunity to perform on BET’s “Spring Bling Revamped” TV show March of 2006, and from there, went to New York City and performed on BET’s 106&Park TV Show coming home as the winners of the Wild-Out-Wednesday competition.  While in college, Lindsey began her teaching career as part of the faculty at Spotlight Dance Studio from January 2006-July 2008.  It was there that she discovered her true passion for teaching, instructing students and adults of all ages in the styles of hip hop, jazz, ballet, lyrical/contemporary, and tap.  During this time, Lindsey also fell in love with Salsa dancing and joined the professional dance team at Universal Mambo Dance Academy under the direction of Eric Baez.  They travel domestically and internationally performing and celebrating the art of Mambo On2 and other Latin dancing.  After college, Lindsey hopped on Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas in August 2008 and danced her way around the East/West Caribbean and South America. After an unforgettable six months at sea, she returned home in February 2009 and is now working full time in Maitland and is a part of the Visions Dance Company at The Center for Contemporary Dance.  Lindsey's greatest passion in life is the art of dance, and desires to share it with people all over the world.  Being a very determined and youthful individual, she loves life and lives it by the motto, "On with the show!" She's very happy to be a part of the Edge faculty, and looks forward to the many adventures that are in store!
