This is Miss Nicole’s second year teaching for Edge Dance Studios. She grew up in the heart of Amish Country, Lancaster, PA. After starting classes in the Lancaster School of Ballet, she began her professional dance training at the age of 13. She attended Mercyhurst University for college and achieved her B.A. degree in the arts—majoring in Dance performance and specializing in Pedagogy and Choreography. While still in college, she began her professional career working as a dancer at Hershey Park in their various shows. After graduating college, she spent the 2011-2012 season dancing with the Oklahoma City Ballet; and also performed as a guest artist for the Albany-Berkshire Ballet. Upon moving to Florida, she has worked as a dancer for the Dance Theater of Orlando, Star Studded Productions, Disney Cruise Lines, and presently is an equity performer for Walt Disney World. She has been a part of the opening casts for the following shows: Hocus Pocus Spelltacular, Rivers of Light, Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire, and Disney Cruise Line’s Beauty and the Beast. She has enjoyed teaching at various schools in Pennsylvania, Oklahoma and Florida. Outside of teaching and performing, she owns an Etsy shop called Woven Tales Designs. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband, two cats, and dog. Miss Nicole is looking forward to growing with her students this year and can’t wait to see what the year holds!
